The Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, Mr. Simon Coveney T.D., signed an Order on 14th July 2016 establishing a Constituency Commission under Part II of the Electoral Act, 1997 to review the Dáil and European constituencies.
The Commission presented its Report to the Chairman of the Dáil on 27 June 2017 and in accordance with section 9 of the Electoral Act 1997, the Commission now stands dissolved.
